My doctor tells me that I shouldn't take vitamin C supplement because of Kidney Stones I've had. How many lemons should I consume to equal 500mg of vitamin C ?

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply to this - your question got lost because it was posted without a title.

I'd suggest you look up government food charts and see what you can find out - I am not a nutritionist and I'm not certain how to advise you with regard to the amount of vitamin C in lemons. I hope you can find (or have already found) the info you're looking for.

Keep in mind, however, that the amount of any vitamin or nutrient in any food is dependant on the variety, the soil quality, growing conditions (how much sun, rain, etc.) and will not necessarily be consistent. I use government food content charts as a simple guideline.
