A few pointers to help you choose nourishing fruits and veggies even when you can't buy organic. Some are sprayed with more toxic pesticides than others.


There have been rumours for years about the horrible pesticides sprayed on bananas, peaches, apples, and other fruits. But how can we know which are the worst, and which ones are (comparatively) safe to eat? Given a choice, I believe that it's always best to go organic - but when you can't find or can't afford to purchase organic produce on a regular basis, you deserve to make educated choices about the food that will affect your body and your family's health. Guidelines from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) based on nearly 43,000 tests by the USDA and FDA report...
