TATT syndrome is on the increase. Heed the early Warning Signs. Learn how to Treat TATT Syndrome Naturally
Tired All The Time syndrome is a 'modern disease' of the western world that is not well understood. In fact many sufferers probably don't even realise that they have a problem that needs to be fixed. All they know is that they feel permanently fatigued and that everything is an effort. The causes of TATT syndrome are to be found in the way we live these days. Here is a possible sequence of events that could lead to TATT syndrome. How Does TATT Syndrome OccurTake an average child. S/he may have repeated doses of ear, nose or throat infections (e.g. tonsilitis) for which she will receive antibiotics. Later s/he may need to have the tonsils or adenoids removed, and will receive more antibiotics. As a young adult s/he may receive medications such as anti-depressants, pain medication or the contraceptive pill. S/he may also indulge in excessive alcohol consumption regularly. S/he may occasionally suffer tummy bugs - or s/he may go travelling and get a dose of dysentery. S/he will probably be exposed to a host of chemicals in her food and drinking water. This all takes its toll on the digestive system and the immune system and s/he starts to gradually notice falling energy levels. Importance of Beneficial Gut BacteriaFrequent use of antibiotics in childhood can harm the beneficial flora in the gut. These organisms are essential for keeping the gut running smoothly and they also make Vitamin K, B vitamins, folic acid, pyroxidine and other essential nutrients. They also help regulate the cholesterol balance in the body. Once the beneficial gut flora are destroyed, their space may taken by harmful organisms such as yeasts. The gut then secretes a protective layer of mucus which becomes a barrier between the person and their food. Their ability to assimilate nutrients from their food is impaired and they end up feeling chronically tired. They may also have other symptoms of poor assimilation such as poor healing, food sensitivities, IBS or thinning hair. There is a cure for TATT syndromeDoes any of this sound familiar? Thankfully there is a natural solution which involves replenishing the beneficial flora and eradicating the 'baddies'. This can be done quite easily by eating lots of live natural yoghurt and organic fruit and vegetables, and by supplementing with a good quality probiotic tablet that is resistant to the stomach acid. Although the problem is relatively easy to solve, this is actually an oversimplification. It can take months to rebuild the beneficial flora and ideally should be done under the guidance of a trained professional. Food intolerances need to be addressed so that the gut can heal. With patience this problem can be completely healed restoring energy and enthusiasm for life.
