Sensitive, Psychic Old Souls Bring Energies of Change

Kids diagnosed as autistic, ADD or children having trouble with school or peers may be intuitive or highly sensitive people with indigo or crystal colored life auras.

Indigo and crystal children have been a hot topic of discussion since the 1980’s, when they were first mentioned in Nancy Ann Tappe’s Understanding Your Life Through Colour (1982). New age groups introduced the concept of indigo and crystal life colors to parents, therapists and educators with mixed results. Are indigo children really here to heal the world? Do they all have ADD? Are they psychic? How can I know if I am an indigo? Read on for answers to these questions and more.

What is an Indigo? What is a Crystal?

Indigo and crystal are aura colours that are increasingly common among today’s children. Experts estimate that between 75 and 95% of today’s youth have indigo as their life color, the dominant color present at the deepest levels of the aura.

Nancy Ann Tappe wrote in the second edition of Understanding Your Life Through Colour, “Usually each universal age is accompanied by a preponderance of people with that life color. For instance now most adults are either Blue or Violet, the two colors with the attributes most needed in this the Violet Age of transition. During the next age, the Indigo Age, Indigo colors will be the norm.” (Tappe, 1986)

In The Indigo Children (1999, Carroll and Tober) she is quoted in an interview as saying, “I look at people’s life colors to learn what their mission is here on the Earth plane – what they’re here to learn, what their syllabus is.”

Indigo

Indigo children usher in a new energy that is transforming the planet around us. They are groundbreakers, creative rebels and independent thinkers, people who will go their own route and leave people and things around them changed.

For many, however, it is not an easy path to walk. Indigos are usually interested in healing and spiritual traditions in their search for tools to empower and heal themselves. They are sensitive, intuitive and expressive. Some have psychic abilities while others, whose indigo nature is suppressed, may have violent episodes. Many are troubled by allergies, attention deficit disorder, and emotional problems thanks to physical and energetic pollutants to which they are exposed.

Crystal

Crystals instinctively channel healing energy. Their crystal nature enables them to pick up energy and aura colors from the people around them. They are acutely sensitive and are even more likely to become healers and lightworkers than indigos, but need space to themselves and a lot of care.

Many crystal children are born autistic or die in infancy because they are so remarkably sensitive. It has been suggested that the indigos are here to transform the world to one in which the crystal children can survive and do their work.

The life color of some indigo adults may transition to crystal when they are in their late twenties or older. The children of indigo parents are almost all crystals and indigos.

Indigo Children: “Here to Save the World”

The frustrating propaganda that claims that indigos are here “to heal the world” has been propagated in recent years by well-known healers and spiritualists – most of whom have violet as their life color and feel strongly that their own purpose is to improve life on Earth and to heal.

Every life color has a role in healing and improving the Earth. The indigo wave is here now for a purpose, but that purpose is best summed up as “living our lives our own way.” Change follows in the wake of indigos, but it may or may not be their stated intention.

What’s my Aura Colour?

Multiple choice tests are available on the internet to help diagnose aura colors. One of the most thorough is Pamela Oslie’s based on her book Life Colors. For a summary of auric life colors, read What’s My Aura Color?

Wow! We always knew our family was special, but reading this gives us a clear explanation and validation of what we always felt. It feels good to finally see recognition in the world, not just patronizing disbelief. Thank you for getting the word out there, and please- more, more, more! With Love, Guaya, JR, and baby Freedom- Rainbow Family of the Living Light.

Dear readers,

Having done some research on what I now discover is a category of Crystal Children, I am gradually becoming convinced that my son is one of them.

This discovery brings comfort to what has been a stressfully long couple of years [3]. I can now attest and relate with the other mothers who have gone through what I have been going through. The various medical examinations, the many doctors opinions, the stares and funny glances from strangers and questions difficult to answer - like what's wrong with your son - and constant worry about his future, not to mention wondering if there's something I should be doing and aren't.

Truly, since he was born, I dedicated him to God as my special gift and have always believed that he was born to do great things, and I still do. Also, since we began the marathon of trying to find out "if anything is wrong with him" deep in my heart, I've always believed that he is just perfect and will talk when he's good and ready. I haven't altogether neglected all the advice from the various specialists, but do not believe that he is autistic either. He is doing one or two things to maintain good health including eating natural foods, but altogether is learning well.

He portrays a keen sense of his surroundings, looks at people very intensely, is very loving and seems to understand things well once taught. The fact that he doesn't speak just yet has been a great worry, although I must mention that he utter's a few words and appears to understands the rest.

Like the other mothers, I seem to know what he wants and can often tell by looking into his eyes. However, now that I have gained new insight on how to communicate with him, I intend to give it more attention and discover ways of meeting his needs whilst giving him the freedom to be himself in natural surroundings.

He is my gift from God and He would not have given my son to me if He thought I couldn't handle the parenting role. So, I take each day in stride, with love for my son and the constant reminder that he is destined for great things in his lifetime.

That said, I would like to applaud all mother's out there caring for children with 'special needs'. It takes an immense amount of love, patience and reliance on God to carry out this role whole heartedly and dedicatedly. I speak from the stance of a young single mother. Kudo's to you all, keep the faith and never give up on your gems! :o)

Hey Kenya,

Hes not talking because he is telepathic.. Try communicating with him in your mind while looking in his eyes. Ask him in your mind to smile for yes, or not smile for no.. Keep things kind of simple and invite him into telepathic communication with yourself.

I'm just researching and finding that my oldest is an indigo and my youngest is a crystal. Finding they do share many traits among the characteristics. I myslef am a crystal. I had always felt something made us very different from others that seem much more normal, and findng we draw alot of magetic energy unintentionally in crowds unexpectedly, positve and negatives, I do seem very senstive to this drawing alot of energy from me which I find tires me out alot, when it does happen which is most often and has become a big part of many questions of 'why', leading to my research and stumbing upon this subject which has opened the doorway to explain in great detail many answers I have been looking for that are very clear to me. I want to know much more about this and why we are. I want to also meet other crystals and indigos as to not feel so alone here in the world knowing there is much to share and explore with each~other. Please find my email and give us some insight as to where to begin our journey and help to find our purpose and to expand my research from here. I do want to be able to support my children as the people they are becoming but it's difficult doing this alone and would love them to meet other children that can relate to them. Thank You.

Hello to you all. I have just read the comments posted, and the one in particular on September 11th this year. I am drawn to you to speak about your energy loss in crowds. I'd just like to say that you can protect yourself in ways so that this doesn't happen to you. I have been in your shoes before and it is truely draining. Every day you can cover yourself with pure white light and visualise yourself in an ivisible bubble that can deflect the negative forces that drain on your energy. When you are open it's something that happens and can't be helped, but if you protect yourself you will find that you are feeling much better within yourself. Thank you and hope this is of help to you. Kylie

When my son was born he did not cry, he just looked around. I was told by someone he was an "old soul". He has come out with the strangest things such as telling us that he chose us, and describing a past life when he was only 2 or 3. he has told me things that he should of never known and responded with Grandpa told me, who died months before he was born. My child is and has been obsessed with the environment from a very young age, with no influences from us. One day a woman came up to me and told me he was a very special child and was one of those, an indigo and that he will make a difference. Then it all came more clear to me,how and why he may of been so connected. He now is 9 and his goal in life has never changed he wants to study turtles ride a dolphin and save our Eco systems.. The world is his I feel that he will make a difference.

Im looking for advice, my 6 year old daughter has an incredible imagination and often suffers from vivd dreams and nightmares, she is very creative and is often in her own world, she talks as if she is older than what she is and this has been noticed by others, she is very sensitive and very loving, she also sleepwalks often, are thses traits of an indigo/crystal child?
Nov 1, 2008 12:27 AM
Guest :
All except the sleepwalking are traits of a crystal child.

I am an indigo and knew right away that 2 of my children were special. I did not realize my middle child was also indigo - i fell so silly for not seeing myself in my son, and my youngest was crystal.

Tell me does your child that has all these traits also have a "knowing" appearance. Can she look at you with those big doe-like eyes and know what you need?...my son can and its odd because I am the only one that seems to see it. He is sensitive in every aspect of life and seems to "know" exactly what I need and when. That is the most prominent of the crystal child traits.

YES!!! She does! She looks at me like she knows what im going to say and or need, she is very wise for her age to the point where even I forget that she is only 6, she uses very adult words when in conversation and has been described as an old soul, I dont even have to say anything to her she already knows what im feeling its pretty incredible really, I always thought that she was a special child she just seems to have a glow about her that radiates.
Thanks for your comment.S

Within the last month or so it was brought to my awareness by several people that my four year old son may be a crystal child based on his characterists. He's a self-made vegetarian who loves hugging and kissing trees on our daily walk to school. Nature walks and animals give him much enjoyment as well. My son is extremely loving and forgiving but incredibly sensitive which has limited his social interactions with others drastically. He doesn't speak all that much but I know he understands on a very profound level.
Since my son has started school (which was two months ago) I've had to bring him to see various specialists and a psychiatrist due to a belief they have that he may be autistic or have asperger's disorder. I KNOW that my son is neither but I seem to be encountering so many impediments proving my truth about him. I would like to know how best to nurture and support his 'gift'. Also, should crystal children be in public education, which my son is in, or would they thrive better in alternative/private schools?
Thank you.

I got a reading from Pam Oslie, and Pam told me that she had never seen my color combination before. I am a Blue/Crystal. It explains why I am the way I am. If you want to be sure about your colors, call Pams radio show.

Okay have read all that has been posted and I am hoping for a little direction here. My 15yr daughter has had a history of individual behaviour since the beginning of school. We kept seeing anxiety, she is very sensitive, not good with a group of people, or peers. More like a minature adult. Has an over whelming sensitivity for wild animals to the point she wishes at times she was one. Gets very upset when harm is done to nature or animals, almost to the point of tears. She keeps getting diagnosed with Asperger like symptoms or ADHD. I know these are both incorrect, but am at a loss as to how to help her. I feel she has so much potential and has a real fondness to old/dead languages. Any direction would be great. Gald i went surfing.

Wow, reading these comments is fascinating to me. I knew my son was differnt when he was born. Even when he first started school I felt an innatereluctance to send him because they would try to 'break' him and change him to be the norm. He is 11 next month and I have fought long and hard to not have him labelled. He took a long time to talk and like previous posters, I did not feel the need for him to talk - we communicated quite well without words. He is very sensitive and has a deep concern about the planet, is spiritual and 'religious' with little influence from me and he is always talking about the type of man he's going to be when he grows up. He is very concerned about poverty and illness in the world and he tells me how he is going to parent and how he will be a 'man of honour' ( his words). I feel honoured and priveleged to be his mother.

I am very strongly indigo. However, I have noticed that I am slowly transitioning to crystal. I have a natural shield, very strong, and have always been telepathic. Now, I can "sense" energy of others that I know and am close too. By doing this, I can see what they are doing, down to the details of how their legs are crossed. I can also cast shields literally a hundred miles away. Is this natural, also, what should I do with my talents. I want to change the world, and make it a better place, but the only way to do that is to destroy the established hierarchy. I want to do this without violence if at all possible.

I am an indigo adult child that was considered a bit odd by my parents who classed me as 'having a vivid imagination' or lying for most of my childhood. I did not do well in large groups as a child but overcame that on my own as an adult. I had spirit experiences as a child that I dismissed as an adult until I woke to a siting of a hooded person with no face at the foot of my bed on my husbands side. He passed a year later.
To this day I feel spirits or catch a glimpse of something. Odd things happen and I get 'feelings' about people or places that I have now learned to pay more attention to. I see the same abilities in my neice, except she speaks to spirits.
I guess I am a 'groundbreaker' as I am self-employed and have a great gift for working with the developmentally disabled. For further discussions I can be reached via email at happymedinas@msn.com . Be sure to put 'Indigo' in the subject line so you will not be left in junk mail.
Remember that believing in your children and loving them so much is what will benefit them the most. You are blessed to have been entrusted with such a gift.

To those asking about schools: Yes, these children thrive in alternative schools such as Waldorf that let them express creativity and develop at their own pace, especially at younger ages. I pulled my indigo son out of public school at grade 2 when I saw the hit his self-esteem was taking for being told he "wasn't trying hard enough" when he just learned differently. When put in a different environment, he thrived and is now in a top college computer animation program. Because of their heightened sensitivity, these kids are strongly affected by the way their teachers interact with them. They pick up judgements instantly and may be easily shut down if discouraged. Encourage and love them... A LOT!!! And keep others around them that will do the same as much as possible.

This is very interesting. I just recently found out I was an indigo adult. I have known that my 3 year old son is a crystal. This article has reinforced that. The other night we had a bunch of people here and 2 of the people are extremely negative people. My son got his crystals out to share them with only the 2 of them. He never plays with the crystals. My friend pointed out that he was using his crystals to heal the two of them. It was very interesting and very cute to watch.

Wow. I'm so glad to find so many unskeptical people!! I believe that I'm an indigo child(from all the research I've been doing i fit almost everything) but not a lot of people at home or in my school believe in anything of the sort. Which makes it a little tough to help them out. But, it's wonderful to see people who think in this same way!!

I was told by a therapist a few years (while i was pregnant with my son)ago that she thought I was an indigo child. I got the book but never read it. My son was born and started to so signs at a very early age that he "got it". At 4 months he was playing peek a boo! At a year he toddled past the TV and there was a violent incident on and he was mortified. He show such incredible empathy! He will hug a stranger in distress and yet he was labeled "tactile defensive" "autistic" he is now 3 & 3 months & not talking (bar no, up there & recently mama). His speech therapist was saying how frustrated his inability to talk must make him but it is just the opposite he makes up his own sign language and knows stuff he should not know. It is amazing! Funnily enough I come from a dysfunctional family and have from a very very young age taken a stand much to the horror of my mother who believes we/she have no problems. I am currently in therapy with the entire family trying to point out that this family behavior is not OK! Then how I don't know I decided to look up about indigo's on the net. And I am shocked to the core at how accurately my son & I fit the indigo/Chrystal descriptions! Strangely enough my sons nanny who has very little education and from a very impoverished background told me my son was an angel & I need to send him to a school where he can be free!!! Well I listened to my mother & sent him to an elite private school & that lasted all of 4 days. My son told me he is to little & will go when he is bigger!!! How can u argue with that!! Well the facts are impossible to deny but where to from here???? How do you address the needs of such an individual?? What do I need to do to help him be all that he can??? Are the support groups around the world for these incredible children?? Please help. Blessings and strength to all.

I am from Serbia, and I'm a father of 3y old son. When my son was born he did not cry, he just looked around also. He doesn't speak yet, but have huge interest in music and all sorts of puzzles (jigsaw puzzles). We went to many doctors, because we dont want to gamble with his life, if there were even a tiny chance that he is autistic. But I belive he is not. Everything about him is normal, only he doesn't speak. Not normal, extraordinary. He did tests, and results were as he is 6yo, all but speaking-they said a year beyond his age. He has a musical talent. When was 2yo, he played his toy piano, and trying to match melody from tv! But I don't know what to do, how to deal with it. I mean what to do for his best development in every sphere of his life. From these comments, I can tell you that he is crystal, and also that my wife and me are indigo.
Also my son have never been destructive. He didn't brake anything on purpose, even accidentally were few times. So, I don't know what to do, and what to think. We worry too much, my wife and me.

Kyrie, she sounds a lot like me.
I started to read at a VERY young age, and my reading level was always significantly higher than any of my peers. I began to read books that only high school kids would in elementary. History has always been a very important thing to me, because I feel a connection with certain old cultures. (That can explain why your daughter likes dead languages)
If she is anything like me then she is VERY in tune with animals and their emotions and they should be with hers. Are they attracted to her? Wild animals seem to want to play with me all the time. Even fish will dart around and play with me for my amusement when I look at them.
The rage I feel when one is being mistreated is undeniable, and I will not tolerate it in any sort of fashion.

Do not let them give her ADHD medicine.
Luckily my father didn't believe in it so I never took it even though I was diagnosed with ADHD.
I believe it would of suppressed my growth.

If you would like to email me please feel free at Mellonlite@yahoo.com
From there I can redirect you to my real email.

Lets please not get back into our millenia old habit of " fixing" children
Whether through education or drugs forced on these children... it does not matter. no one has ever needed these things, so please dont convince urself or others that we need to "do" anything about this. Just be. these children are no different from u, except that u think that u need to "fix" a bunch of things whether for what u call "god" or ur false idea of a "spiritual evolution". there is no such thing because we are simultaneously all our greatest potential, and u only have ur dirty age old belief that tells u otherwise.

Hi readers,
My daughter is 12 years old. I had a very difficult pregnancy and lost her twin at 12 weeks. Despite everything she 'stuck like glue' and was born on the 12 April. At the age of 4 she mentioned 'my brother that was in your tummy at the same time as me - he died'. We had never told her anything of the miscarriage, in fact we were not even aware that it was a boy that I had miscarried. When looking at photos of my grandmother, who had passed away 6 years before my daughter was born, she told me 'this lady visits me often'. It has also been revealed that she has had at least one past life experience and can describe her other mother to me. When she was little she always asked me if I could see the fairies and would point to them and tell me their names. She has a very creative, vivid imagination and is often found talking to herself. She is an only child and I thought it was because she is lonely that she plays this way. She now speaks about 'shadows' that she sees and tells me she has two 'guides' that are with her all the time. She 'feels' people visit her but cannot see them so she imagines what they would look like after speaking to them. She is an incredibly exuberant affectionate child and is well known for her hugs. She has had a facination for crystals, shells and rocks from the time she could crawl. She insists on wearing a crystal necklace saying that it protects her. She always takes me into shops that sell crystals and says she is drawn to the one that she knows will help her. She is very fond of animals and tells me that they can communicate with each other silently. The other night we were watching Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth about global warming etc. She was completely drawn to the TV and was tearfully adamant at the end of the program that we must do whatever we can to help Earth. She at times feels very 'different', not only because of what I have mentioned above but also because she has a learning disability and has been diagnosed with ADD. She believes that parents are 'chosen'. Well, I am very blessed and honoured that I was chosen to be a part of this young girl's life. Any ideas or suggestion of how I can help her in her journey through this life would be most welcome!

Hello to you all. I'm 21 and after doing some research I'm almost certain that I'm either an indigo or a crystal. I think crystal is more likely, though I was born in the late 80's. I'm a very calm person, and when I was a little kid people always said that I acted and talked much older than my age. When I was 2 I once frightened my parents by bursting into tears and saying that I didn't want them to die. I used to collect odd rocks and crytals as a child, and when I was a toddler I had very violent nightmares and was afraid to sleep. As a result, by the time time I was 7 or so I had learned to have some control over my dreams and to wake up at will. I have an unusually good memory, I could learn books by heart at 4.
I can see auras... sort of. I never trained so it only happens when I last expect it.
I am sensitive and hate seeing people cry. As a kid I would make a fool of myself sometimes just to cheer people up.
I think I saw a ghost when I was a teen, but I'm not certain.
Like indigos, I am creative and did not fit well in school, even in primary. I'd get bored and frustrated because we were learning too slow for my taste. I day-dreamed often (still do) and got called on by the teachers for not listening... they hated it when I always had the answer to whatever they asked me, even when I had been lost in my little world for the past hour.
So yeah, I don't know whether I'm indigo or crystal... or neither. A friend once told me that maybe I had been born indigo and changed into crystal over the years. I don't know.
But I think my little sister is definitely an indigo.

Hi,
From the explaination I am not able to say if someone is Indigo or Crystal! There are differences but what are the differences these two are mostly mentioned as one. I would like to know what are the distinctions. It is not clear to me and I do not see much information here or anywhere else.
How I read these comments almost everyone who has problems with fitting in with groups could be an Indigo/Crystal. There should be more information mentioned before putting a sticker to a person.
I hate to put a person in a box.
What I heard is that a Crystal is a child/soul, is the first time here on earth! So I can understand it is all new to them and the reactions are different than if a soul has been here on earth for thousands of years. It is all new to them so that is logical that these souls look and react so strange to (other) people.
It is still our opinion how a child/soul should react!

hi there everyone, i'm noesis(quite weird right?), male,17, and i probably think myself as crystal(but a bit indigo -soft of).

my story began when i'm surfing the net about meditation, buddhism, human chakras, satan, christianity, national geographic... but then i landed here.. i found out here in this site some clarifications about myself. i really see myself as very passive, doesn't talk a lot(hey i'm not autistic ok.., just shy type) more interested in nature, reality of the society, origins of beliefs, and seeking the truth of our existence rather than spending time on social or teen activities. it was said here that crystals are often very much sensitive to the surrounding, born autistic or die young (luckily i survived) and needs a LOT of care. when i read the "lot of care", i recalled on how my parents raised me and felt sad a bit. not that they don't care about me but the way they raise me, it seems like i'm just an obligation. the relationship between myself and my parents(actually all people around me except my pets)is really dry, not that i don't want to bond with them, but just to avoid getting hurt in the end.. that's all.. right know i'm more interested in meditation, opening the chakras and following the path of buddha- to be awakened..

My daughter was over yesterday telling me that a lady came up to her in the mall and asked how old the baby was. My daughter told the lady he was only 3 1/2 weeks old. The lady said that he was an old soul and that my daughter should read up on Indigo children. I didn't take this too seriously until I looked Indigo up on the computer today. My mother, myself and my daughter have all been saying how unusually bright he is. He always stares at you when you hold him. I know that this sounds like just a doting granny but we all feel otherwise. My mother and I have always had a kind of psychic thingy, where we will know what eachother was thinking or my daughter will call and I will know what she is going to ask me and of course there are the times when I would here someone whisper my name when no one is around. Makes you think you are going nuts. I can't wait to see this little guy grow up, it is going to be one heck of a trip.

Blessings,
I have been searching for quite sometime to come in contact with souls as old as me. I am 22 years on this earth in this life. My journey began many many lives ago. My history, all that I can remember of who I am are 6 lives I recollect. And I keep remembering more with time... Dreams come to me, but one I can remember was a life where I was a healer, I lived in a small cottage in a green meadow with beautiful lush trees, and people would travel for days; so that I could lay my hands on them. I choose to come back to help others in every life. I am an indigo finally making my transition to crystal... I know that this process will last for the next few years of my life, and it is very painful. But I am excited. I read all the postings and am overlwhelmed with tears and excitement that there are people out there like me, and parents who are so loving and caring to their children. They are precious and need so much love, smother them please... we all need it.
The feeling your children have when they are misunderstood, in as if they are alien. Remember they come from many lives before this and so much knowledge to share with you... they chose you and they are a gift to you. They will teach you more for your own spiritual development than you have to give them at this time. Share and love them. And please dont let anyone tell you that they are sick, or have these man made excuses for highly sensitive and earthshaking spirits. Encourage and love their gifts, and work to develop them.
I have been thinking about writing a book to help parents with children like me. And I believe I will start writing it soon. I want to help those out there in this realm of the living so that we may all reach our crystal potential.
As for all of you, indigos, and crytals, my dear kindred spirits, I have wanted and been craving all of my life for your companionship, that we may join our strong and loving alliances and make a difference and change our unfortunately unhealthy world. I am glad to know you are all here with me, and that I am not alone.

I would really love to talk to any of you who are out there, so that we may share our experiences and join our forces. Please email me at anysaolivera@gmail.com, and please title the heading Indigo, or Crystal... As for parents with any questions, please email me as well. I would be blessed to help any of you with your beautiful children.

peace. love. dance

Hi! I'm an adult crystal who was shut down as a child, as it was the only way i could cope with energies and emotions of others. Now i have my own Crystal and Rainbow, i would like them to have a differet experience!
My 4yr old crystal boy gets so excited when he is in the energy of the group at Kindy that his teacher wants him to get tested.... (of course)... they have to snap him out of it so he pays attention. He totally flips when we take him to a show with big crowds too. So he is sensitive to group energy.. that's the main thing, and he sometimes talks to dead people while in a trance and is psychic.
Does anyone know of a good energy balancing pendant he can wear? That doesn't cost the earth? I feel this will help him at school next year.
I looked at the Q-link and some others but they were $200+.

Hello. I honestly don't know what I am. I've always known that I wasn't human, that I was different than everyone else. I feel so lost in this life. I've always felt a strong connection to many Indigo's. My boyfriend is one and so is his daughter. When I saw her for the first time, I became attached more than seems normal. I felt from day one that I needed to be in her life. I need to protect her. I feel like my life purpose is to take care of her and other Indigo children. I was told that I'm a protector of the children that haven't been spawned yet and that I wasn't supposed to be here yet. I'm always feeling alone, and she told me that it was because my kind hasn't arrived yet. That I'm a preview. When I was born, my cord was wrapped around my neck like Butterfly Effect. My boyfriend told me that, maybe, I wasn't supposed to be here. The girl in that movie is named Kaley. So am I. It's one of the only movies I've seen with my name. Is there anyone else out there like me? Does anyone else feel so much better around children? Feel like they need to be around them? Feel the need to protect them with all of yourself? I don't want to be alone in this. Can someone send me a message if they can tell me more? My email is: captain_midget@msn.com. Thanks!

Dear Readers,
As i am reading through the comments, i notice that some parents are writing that they know their child isn't Autistc even though they have been diagnosed. To my understanding, many crystal children are born autistic because they are so sensitive. My daughter has asperger's together with being a crystal child and i embrace this, and so in turn, i can help her in her quest to help heal this world. I understand her thought process, her moods, her cognitive development, her need for organic foods, while also understanding her need for movement, isolation at times and her needing help in regards to her neurological system. We have been spending most of our time helping our asperger's/crystal daughter grow and express her ability as freely as she has to, (DRUG FREE) with great success. All i ask is that you do not be frigtened of this label. Asperger's children are a gift from god this is why it is asociated with being a crystal child. They are not failers but children of a new generaten wanting to free the world from everything Wrong and hurtful. And in their intellectual quest, some grow to make big differences in this world. But first we have to except all part of our children, learn about them and walk with our children down the right path to help them except themselves.

Our 14 year old son has been in and out of dr's for 10years and treated for depression. we found out recently he is a Crystal Child. close friends have said, 'isnt he afraid now?' I tell them no, because for the first time he is actually at peace. Ever since he got his validation, he is at peace.
He is bombarded at night with spirits. some have even been soldiers, or people who were murdered. He cannot shut this off. Can someone offer simple terms on how to help him? Remember he is also a typical teenage boy.
I would also like to correspond with any parents of teenage Crystal children, especially if they are in the Southeastern USA. If there is a Crystal teenager out there that would like to communicate with another, please let me know too.
Sincerely,
Laura

Hey, I'm Spencer Mara & I believe I'm an indigo child. I have allergies, I'm in all ILP(Independent Learning Program) classes, and I have a temper, that I will admit. Most of my close friends are quite older than me, seeing I just turned 13 and they're all 19 and older. When I first met a new friend of mine, Shauna(18), who is a very smart girl, she thought(just from my speaking to her) that I was at least 16. I also have premonitional dreams, for example, I dreamed once that my little sister would lose a tooth the next day...and she did. There have been other dreams, quite interesting ones, as well. Please, I'd love to know if I'm a true indigo child and I'd love to talk. So, email me at: vampyre_girl_98331@hotmail.com

Thanks,
Spence

i am stepfather(fate or what!) to a probable indigo teen,i have a vast and relevant experience in all things mystic, knowing this and aware of the help and support i am willing and able to give to him,why is he obstructive, destructive, hurtful(especially to his mother).nasty, tantrum oriented, arrogant, egotistic and almost constantly a pain in the a**e.(no there are no good traits).he is aware of indigos and i suspect he believes himself destined.my problem:if these people are the future surely some empathy with other people should be showing(distinctively lacking)if all you people accepting these'children'as wonderful and misunderstood don't get a reality check we will have major problems on this planet run by a bunch of phsychologically immature, heartless, self centred brats, can you all handle a not so positve perspective?

I believe my seven year old son is a crystal child. Although he started speaking early and well, he exhibited an intense focus people often commented on. He would discuss things with me in a very serious and adult manner, subjects and topics that as far as I knew he had little or no exposure to. We often had strangers following us around in stores as we shopped, listening to our conversations. When I would question him about how he came to learn or find out about things, like God or heaven or family members who had passed before he was born, he would just smile and say quietly "I just know some stuff." I enrolled him in a Montessori Casa program and the directress who had been working with children for 25 years both in Canada and Europe told me that his focus is far beyond his years in her experience. She had worked quite a bit with autistic children and had several children labeled as such in her classroom at the time. She would pair my son with them often because she said she witnessed frequently how his company would sooth a child who was getting agitated. I asked my son if that bothered him and he replied that it didn't because they "needed his patience to to help them feel good". He was 3.5 years old at the time

I would highly recommend going the Montessori route if your child is having difficulty or has been diagnosed with autism. An environment practicing true Montessori development is a wonderful thing and during the three years my son attended I saw inspiring changes occurring in autistic children as they felt safe, loved and encouraged.

There was one child at the school who he argued and fought with almost daily and so in a quest to understand why he could be so calm & loving with all the other children but not with this particular child, I started questioning him about the situation. I got this response: "Mom, he isn't being fair, he isn't being nice and his meanness is taking up a lot of space in our classroom! I fight him because the rest of us need that space!"

Everyday is incredible and I feel truly blessed by God to have this soul in my life. I have the most amazing conversations with him about the earth, animals, God, Jesus, people we know and the relationships we have.

I am just finding out my 5 year old son is a Crystal child. We are struggling greatly with getting him to follow the rules and directions at school. It's an issue and he's not like a typical 5 year old. He reasons like someone who is 20 and consequences don't really phase him at all. He's very in tune to people's emotions and to everything around him. He's very nuturing, compassionate, and emotional. I need help managing him so that he can function appropriatley in the classroom without breaking his spirit because it's a great one. He's an amazing kid. Anyone that has more basic info on crystal kids and how to help them in school if you could please contact me at arizonacutie0313@yahoo.com I'd really appreciate it. I'll take all the help I can get at this point.

Dear Readers,
Today I went to my local new age shop, and I met these two women. As soon as I walked through the door they didn't stop looking at me. I didn't understand why. But I went up and talked to them. They stared at each other, as if reading each others minds. 'She knows.' one of them said to me. 'Look at her eyes, she is ready.' the other one kept saying. I didn't understand untill one of them told me to look up indigo and crystal children. 'She is about to have her first change.' the first one said. I still didn't understand, untill the woman at the counter (a strong wicca believer) explained to me that I was an Indigo child, and the women that were just in the store saw my aura.
I have never fit in or been in the 'popular' croud. I see things others dont. I comunicate with the dead, whether I want to or not. They come to me in search of something. I havent figured out what yet. I see things before they happen and i dream of people before I meet them. I never understood why Untill my grandmother called and told me what was going on.

Well, I'm slowly putting the pieces together about who I am and what I'm meant to do on this planet. I have had many unexplainable things around me, such as hearing footsteps behind me when nobody is there ... Or waking up from a nightmare to see a figure standing over my bed.

I saw the doctor a while ago and asked if I was schizophrenic, mostly because nobody else experienced what I had been going through. He asked me a few questions and then politely said no while asking me if I was getting enough sleep ... Which I was.

I then proceeded to surf the web to find the answer, and I found something on Wikipedia that was described as "indigo children". I looked at the characteristics and saw a HUGE similarity. I was always different and "weird", I stood around and watched people throw their lives away and enjoying it while I stood there and watched. Not to mention all of the scams and fraud that people pull on others to destroy what they have rightfully earned. I have also felt that I needed to change the world right from the moment I knew what the world was like.

I wondered if I was just crazy, but it looks like I'm one of them.
